Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.

The mantra that we all grew up with has greatly influenced the way I conduct my business practices. Who says that businesses are already being as sustainable as they can? No, a business can always be more eco-conscious of its byproducts. Although my business is not completely zero-waste, the goal is eventually attain that level of sustainability or come as close as possible to my goal.

Services

Threading

Because eyebrow and facial threading requires the use of a simple piece of cotton thread, it is more sustainable than any other form of hair removal. Cotton is easily biodegradable and more precise in hair removal for all facial hair types.

Reusable Cotton Rounds

Before I found a brand of reusable cotton rounds, I used to use single-use cotton rounds. For sanitary purposes, I will continue to use them, but in a lower quantity I hope. The reusable cotton rounds will still be "single-use" before I wash the bunch together.

Brushes

Instead of always using cotton swabs to remove or clean certain products during a service, I have started using brushes. These brush are cleaned in between services, which is the best I can do. Again, I will continue to use the swabs when needed, but I now have an alternative.
