Unlike lash extensions, which add synthetic lashes, a lash lift works entirely with your own natural lashes. During the treatment, custom-sized silicone rods or shields are selected based on your lash length and desired result. A lifting solution is applied to gently reshape the lashes, followed by a setting solution that locks them in their new position. The result is beautifully lifted lashes and a brighter, more open-eyed appearance that lasts approximately 6–8 weeks.
Unlike an eyelash curler, which provides temporary results that often fall throughout the day, a lash lift keeps your lashes lifted 24/7 without daily effort. It also reduces the need for waterproof mascara and eliminates the maintenance, fills, adhesives, and added weight associated with lash extensions. Because your eyelashes naturally grow, rest, and shed in a continuous cycle, new lashes will gradually grow in while lifted lashes naturally shed, causing the results to soften over time rather than disappear all at once. This makes a lash lift a low-maintenance, natural-looking enhancement for those seeking effortless, everyday beauty.
How does it work?
Every eyelash contains structural bonds that help determine its natural shape. During a lash lift, a lifting solution temporarily softens these bonds, allowing the lashes to be repositioned around a silicone rod or shield. A setting solution is then applied to lock the lashes into their new shape. Your eyelashes are constantly moving through a natural growth cycle of growing, resting, and shedding. A lash lift enhances the lashes you have at the time of your appointment, but new lashes will continue to grow in their natural direction. As a result, the lift softens over time rather than disappearing all at once.
Most clients enjoy their results for 6–8 weeks, though this can vary based on individual lash growth cycles, aftercare, and lifestyle. Because each lash is at a different stage of growth, your lashes naturally maintain fullness while continuously renewing themselves throughout the year.
What are the steps in a lash lift?
Our Lash Lift system uses Cysteamine HCl instead of Thioglycolate, making it a safer and gentler alternative, with no ammonia. Cysteamine-based lash solutions reshape the lashes without damaging or drying them out, preserving their strength and elasticity. The formula minimizes the risk of over-processing, leaving lashes healthy and naturally lifted with long-lasting results.
Duration: 15-20 minutes
I lift your lashes onto a silicone rod or shield, redirecting the hair up and separating them. Step One is then applied, which is a gentle perming solution that softens the lashes, allowing them to mold into the shape of the rod or shield.
Duration: 10-15 mins
I then clean and re-separate the lashes, then apply Step Two, a setting solution mixed with keratin, to lock them into their new lifted shape. This step ensures the lift maintains its structure.
Duration: 10 mins
After I remove Step Two, I will clean your eyelashes and apply the black eyelash tint. You can choose a classic black tint or a softer purple-black tint, perfect for lighter eyes.
Duration: 10-15 minutes
I will then remove the tint, wash your eyes and lashes, and then brush them. I finally top it all off with the Hyaluronic Boost Serum, which helps condition and strengthen hair while improving softness, elasticity, and shine.
