Frequently asked questions

Eyebrow Threading FAQs

  • How Long Does Threading Last?

Eyebrow threading usually lasts 2–4 weeks, though this varies based on hair growth and your preferred brow shape. Faster growth may require touch-ups sooner, while thinner or less defined brows can often last longer between threading appointments.

  • How often should I come back?

On average, threading lasts about 3 weeks. Many clients return every 2–3 weeks, while others prefer monthly visits. There’s no right or wrong—come when your brows feel unmanageable. I don’t recommend tweezing, as removing the wrong hairs can affect how well I shape them.

  • Does Eyebrow Threading Hurt?

It really depends on your pain tolerance. Usually people will tear up, but not always from pain. Some first-timers never cry, while other long-time clients still do every time. But fret not! I always give breaks in between and have often been told I have a gentle touch.

  • Is eyebrow threading safe for all skin types?

Bumps can occur if you have sensitive skin or poor skin hygiene. After threading, your pores are open, making it easier for bacteria to enter. To prevent this, wash your face with cold water and soap before and after your session, and apply ice afterward if needed.

  • What is the preparation and aftercare for threading?

Don’t wear contacts! Exfoliate 1–3 days before your service to help remove tiny or buried hairs. After threading, wash your face to protect open pores. Gently exfoliate brows weekly with a soft toothbrush and face wash to reduce ingrowns.

  • How to get thicker eyebrows? Is it possible?

Sometimes brows grow back, sometimes they don’t. If you come to me, I can guide you on your growth journey, leaving hairs slowly over 6-24 months. For thinner eyebrows, try a brow dye, lamination, natural remedies like castor oil, or my growth oil blend which you can try after your service!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How Long Does Threading Last? And How often should I come back?

Eyebrow threading timing varies—most people return every 2–4 weeks, depending on hair growth and desired shape. Come in when tweezing feels unmanageable or before an event. Tweeze only stray hairs far below your shape; over-tweezing causes uneven brows and makes shaping harder. Monthly visits are most common.
